Sized right!!!
Finally, a sandwich bread that is gluten free that is a size you can actually make a normal sandwich on!!! This is how all gf loaves should be (even if this is only 6 slices, not a whole loaf!). Still feel it needs to be toasted, but they did get it right!

Real bread
Tastes, feel and toasts like normal bread. This bread is fluffy and soft like normal bread. Great for sandwiches because no one can tell the difference.

Individual slices
This Schar gluten free sliced bread is an interesting product. It's not a full loaf of bread like I originally thought is was going to be. It's like 6 large slices of bread, no end or top pieces. Good for a large sandwich where you don't want a whole loaf of bread and want gluten free. Love that it's gluten free.

Check expiration date
The slices look larger and are larger than their other breads, but these are only 6 slices. For a new product, check the package expiration before buying. My stores have several days past expiration still on shelf. Also says Previously frozen. Do not refreeze.

It was ok
I had tried the schar gluten free bread before but not the XL sandwich one. I ate it as soon as it was toasted and it tasted good but when I ate it after sometime it was toasted it tasted bad.

Big slices
I really liked the big slices and the texture of this bread. I didn’t like the yeasty taste though. If you like a sourdough taste you would probably enjoy this.
